Integrative Medicine Approach to Hypertension
Session Objectives
- Describe the integrative opportunities available to treat hypertension including basic lifestyle changes.
- Discuss basic supplements that may impact positive blood pressure changes.
- Recall the impact of mind-body interventions on hypertension.
- Create a comprehensive integrated plan to treat hypertension.
The North Carolina Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Robert Agnello, DO Related seminars and products: 1
Dr. Agnello, a native of New York, is a US Army Veteran who is board certified in family medicine and pain medicine with a focus in integrative and functional approaches. Also, he has been trained in medical acupuncture since 2015. He is a graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently employed with the Integrated Pain Management Clinic at the Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. Dr. Agnello is also an adjunct faculty member with the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine where he teaches osteopathic manipulative medicine. He has been on the Board of Trustees for NCS-ACOFP since 2014.
