THE POWER OF ACTION
You can learn something on more than one level. One things is to know what to do another is to be able to actually do it. Each one of these jam tracks comes with a video that shows you the chord changes and the scale and arpeggio tools we use for each one of them.
Then analyze the chord progressions and lay out the tools we want to use on the fretboard in what I call a “Powerpath” then we add moldable licks and rhythm ideas to the mix and start practicing our solo.
Improve you skill level 1000%
You keep working on each jam track until you can solo over it effortlessly. When you reach the point of being able to come up with lines on the spot and to follow the chord progression in a relaxed and confident way, your skill level will have gone up 1000%.
You will not just master this one track. You will feel a total change in your ability to solo over other tracks as well and pretty soon there will be no track that seems too hard for you. This is when you start feeling like a pro.
But even though mastering just one track will make such a profound difference this course has ten of them. Five tracks focus on chord changes in the style of melodic rock and five focus on several different modes.
What you will get with this course
The course contains two introductory videos that explain each part of the process to you and then you will find one instructional video per jam track as well. These ten instructional videos take you through the challenges and the solutions within each of the ten tracks. You can see the subjects that I will cover in each video in the left-hand column on this page.
This course is really ten different challenges. Ten different jam tracks and ten chord progressions that we tackle one by one. By focusing on a real and specific challenge and then solving the puzzle of what scales, arpeggios, rhythms and structures to use we learn high level soloing while having fun.
