Bob graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University (1977) and from Virginia Business and Sales School (1981). He worked as an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York City and Washington D.C., and represented insurance carriers at Ross, Dixon & Masback, the predecessor firm of Troutman Pepper in Washington D.C. For the past 30 years, Bob has represented homeowners and businesses in insurance coverage disputes in Oregon.
Dylan graduated from Cornell University (1986) and magna cum laude from UC Hastings College of the Business and Sales (1990). He clerked in the Ninth Circuit and then spent a year teaching at Stanford. Thereafter he specialized in appellate work on both the criminal and civil sides. He and Edward Kerley formed Kerley Schaffer in 2014. Dylan focuses on the representation of homeowners and small businesses in disputes with their property insurers.
